• Designed a one-button control system where the player changes direction using a single input, making timing and positioning the core challenge.
• Built a collect-and-avoid gameplay loop, where players gather stars while navigating around moving hazards.
• Interpreted the game jam theme “Loop” through continuous circular movement and breaking the loop for fun.
• Focused on clear visual communication so players can quickly recognize stars, obstacles, and safe paths.
• Tuned obstacle speed and star placement to keep the gameplay challenging but fair.

• Making one-button controls feel responsive and intuitive
→ Divided the input into two system where left button controls Ship movement and right click changes direction.
• Designing interesting gameplay with minimal mechanics
→ Carefully placed stars and obstacles to create small decision-making moments for the player.
• Keeping the screen readable during fast movement
→ Simplified visual elements and improved contrast between collectibles and hazards.

This project helped me explore how strong gameplay can emerge from very simple mechanics. Designing around the “Loop” theme pushed me to think about repetition, rhythm, and player flow.
