• Designed a 2D vertical endless runner where the player moves through a dark space using light as both guidance and survival focus.
• The player uses a slingshot mechanic: click, aim, and release to dash upward.
• Focused on simple movement mechanics so level difficulty comes from obstacle placement rather than control complexity.
• Used contrast between darkness and glowing elements to guide player attention.

• Low visibility sometimes confused players too early
→ Adjusted light placement so important paths became easier to read.
• Obstacle timing felt uneven during testing
→ Reworked jump spacing and hazard rhythm for smoother progression.
• Player movement was confused
→ Limited player movement direction to upwards only.

This project helped me understand how visual contrast can directly affect gameplay readability. I enjoyed designing an endless runner game in a classic game jam time period. Learned visibility is important rather than complexity.
